Sending or receiving foreign currency? The headline rate is never the rate you get: banks and exchangers keep a spread. Enter the amount and the rate on your quote, add the fee, and see exactly what lands on the other side. You enter the rate — this tool does not fetch live rates, so it always matches the deal in front of you.

How it works

Gross amount = amount × your quoted rate. Fee cost = gross × fee%. Net received = gross − fee cost. Effective rate = quoted rate × (1 − fee%), the honest single number to compare between banks and exchangers: the higher effective rate wins when you are buying foreign currency with rupees, and the comparison flips when you are selling — either way, compare net amounts for your exact amount.
