How it works: Balancing is just bookkeeping: every element must appear the same number of times on both sides (atoms are never created or destroyed). This tool parses each formula, builds an element × compound matrix, and solves it with exact fraction arithmetic (Gaussian elimination), then scales the solution to the smallest whole-number coefficients. It never guesses by trial — if no unique whole-number solution exists, it tells you instead of inventing one.
