Passport Photo Maker — 35×45 mm, White or Blue Background
Turn a phone photo into a proper passport-size photo: 35×45 mm at 300 DPI (413×531 pixels), with a white, blue or light grey background, plus a printable 4×6 sheet. Everything runs in your browser — your photo never leaves your device.
Drag the photo to move it. Fit your face inside the gold oval — head and shoulders, looking straight at the camera.
Make a Passport-Size Photo Online — 35×45 mm With a White or Blue Background
A passport photo is not just a small photo. It has an exact size (35×45 mm in Pakistan and most of the world), an exact print resolution (413×531 pixels at 300 DPI), and usually a plain white or blue background. Studios charge for what is mostly cropping and a background swap — this tool does both on your own phone or computer, and because it runs entirely in your browser, the photo of your face never gets uploaded anywhere.
How to use it
- Take or choose a photo facing the camera, with a plain wall behind you and even light on your face.
- Drag the photo inside the frame so your face sits in the gold oval, and use the zoom slider to fill it properly.
- Choose a background — white, blue or light grey — or keep the original.
- Download the single photo, or the 4×6 inch sheet with 4 copies for printing at any photo shop.
About the background changer — honestly
The background swap finds the plain colour around the edges of your photo and replaces it. On a flat, evenly lit wall it looks clean. On a busy background — curtains, shadows, other people, or hair that is a similar colour to the wall — the edges will be rough, and no simple browser tool can fix that; expensive studio software and a human retoucher exist for a reason. If your application is strict (a passport office, an embassy), take the original photo against the plainest wall you can find, in daylight, and check the result zoomed in before you submit it. If the cleanup strength slider leaves patches of the old wall, slide it right; if it starts eating into hair or clothing, slide it left.
Frequently asked questions
What size is a passport photo in Pakistan?
35×45 mm, which at the standard 300 DPI print resolution is 413×531 pixels — exactly what this tool produces. Some services (for example US visas) ask for 2×2 inches instead; the image resizer has that as a print preset.
White or blue background — which do I need?
It depends on the application. Pakistani passport and CNIC photos are commonly taken on white or blue depending on the office and the era of the form; many online portals simply say "plain background". Check your form's photo specification first — it always states the colour — then pick the matching option here.
How do I print the 4×6 sheet?
Download the sheet and print it at any photo studio or home printer as a 4×6 inch photo, at 100% size with no "fit to page" scaling. You get 4 standard passport photos to cut along the faint guide lines — the cheapest way to get a set.
The portal also wants the photo under 100 KB. What now?
Run the downloaded photo through the image compressor and choose the 100 KB (or smaller) target — it keeps the 413×531 dimensions and just adjusts the file weight.
