Mixing concrete on site means every material must arrive together, in proportion. Give this calculator a volume and a mix ratio and it returns the complete batch list — including the water quantity from your water–cement ratio, the detail most quick calculators skip.

Concrete Mix Calculator

Full batch quantities for a mix — cement, sand, aggregate and water.

Common mixes: M20 = 1 : 1.5 : 3 (columns, beams) · M15 = 1 : 2 : 4 (slabs, floors) · M10 = 1 : 3 : 6 (levelling, foundations).

How it works

Dry volume = wet volume × 1.54. Material volumes follow the ratio parts: cement = dry volume × cement part ÷ total parts, and likewise for sand and aggregate. Cement weight = cement volume × 1,440 kg/m³; bags assume 50 kg. Water = cement weight × water–cement ratio, in litres. Too much water weakens concrete — stay inside the typical 0.45–0.55 band unless your engineer specifies otherwise.
