Ordering cement for a slab, footing or column? Enter the wet concrete volume and the mix ratio and this calculator converts it the way site engineers do — dry volume, material shares, and 50 kg bags rounded up so you never run short mid-pour.

Cement Quantity Calculator

Bags of cement, sand and aggregate for any concrete volume and mix.

Common mixes: M20 = 1 : 1.5 : 3 · M15 = 1 : 2 : 4 · M10 = 1 : 3 : 6 · M7.5 = 1 : 4 : 8. Cement is packed in 50 kg bags; cement density 1,440 kg/m³.

How it works

Dry volume = wet volume × 1.54 (concrete ingredients occupy more space dry than the finished wet volume). Each material’s share = dry volume × (its ratio part ÷ total parts). Cement weight = cement volume × 1,440 kg/m³, and bags = weight ÷ 50 kg. One cubic metre is about 35.3 cubic feet, if your drawing gives volumes in feet.
